Where are the PA4x users from
Hello all,
I'm new to the world of PA4x. I noticed from youtube videos and reading on the interwebs that a lot of content (performances/demos/content) is from people around the globe as opposed to performances/demos/content in English or related to western style of music.
This is very interesting, since it shows that the PA seems to be a a much more global instrument.
On the other hand, the PA4x doesn't seem to be that popular or should I say "adopted" in the US. I could not get my hands on the instrument in any music shop before buying. A lot of music shops online/offline couldn't speak in detail about the instrument.
This makes me wonder what kind of go to market strategy Korg arranger folks had as compared to Yamaha.
The PSR and Tyros arrangers are available to play with in almost all musical instrument shops in major US cities. I'd imagine PA4x would be kicking ass in the US market given the specs / Korg demos and pricing!

It is true that arrangers are more popular in Europe than the US, and, accordingly, the number of music stores willing to stock top of the line keyboards is much smaller. However, I have seen a remarkable interest in the Pa4X among the pros here, but bought on line.

I am from Ohio, USA and have been using the Korg PA series since the PA1. I now have the 4. I've sold my PA1 and PA2 plus a 600 to people here in Ohio and Indiana. I've also colluded with other users here in the USA. There are zero stores that have a Korg on hand in Ohio. So I purchase online. Thanks.
