Liverpool Arranger Tempo/Value Dial Problem

Hi. I just purchased a new Liverpool arranger and I can't seem to get the tempo/value dial to do anything. I saved the operating system to a card and then reloaded it, but it had no effect. Anybody else have this problem? Thanks.

Take it/send it back. That should work straight out of the box.
