New sounds

Hi, this is my first post. I had a Kronos X delivered yesterday and have successfully upgraded to 3.0.4. I was hoping that the factory sounds would be updated. I've just joined a cover band and have to get 25 songs programmed. One song is Jump which is Program A078 in Int-A. On my Kronos A078 in Int A is Old Style Syn Bass.

Does 3.0.4 come with new sounds and if not how to I upgrade to the latest sounds like the Kronos 2 and get A078 in Int-A?.

Welcome to the forum.

This would probably have been better posted in the Kronos part of the forum.

The Jump sound in Program A078 can be found in the Kronos2. The Kronos X can be upgraded to the Kronos 2 spec using the Kronos Sound Pack, which contains the EXs 17 SGX - 2 Berlin D Piano and EXs 18 KORG EXs Collections and KRS - 07 Sound Pack 3.0.

The Kronos Sound Pack was on a Black Friday offer with 33% off but that has now gone.

Burning Busch has produced a sound pack called Famous Synths V1+2 which contains a Program for Van Halen's Jump sound.
