Can't initialize Krome

Post by Keysplayer2007 »

I've stored some presets in the F Bank that I want to delete, and attempted to initialize my Krome to clear them and start over.
After powering down, I followed the instructions provided by Korg.
Holding the exit and page button at the same time. During power up, the screen says, (writing to internal memory.) After the unit is powered up, all settings remain unchanged. Load preload/demo data won't clear F bank. Memory protect is off, and Krome is Version 1.0.3
Thanks,
Robert

PCG tools may be the simplest way to do this. The user preset banks are not normally cleared of data, since this could delete things that are unique i.e. user created programs. The rest can be restored relatively easily.

Thanks for the feedback. I figured there was a solution to manage
my programs. Still concerned why initialization is not working in case I need reset because malfunction etc.
