"Korg Kronos 2 USB B to PC USB for editor/ sub system update"
I get a message on my PC Win 7 that there is "No Midi Port" even though I have installed the Latest usb midi driver. This happens not only with trying to run the Sub-system updater but also the Kronos 2 Editor.
The PC I use all the time with other Keyboards and usb/midi interface devices with no problem.
I have tested the USB B plug on the Kronos by plugging in an Ipad and making a Connection to where I can see they are interacting. (I can run a sequencer on the Ipad and it controls the Notes on the Kronos). I did notice that once I plug the Kronos into the Ipad it seems to remove the "Audio" on my ipad which is odd so I am also asking about that on a different forum. But it is odd as I use other keyboards via USB to control the Ipad.
So I am wondering if maybe there is a random setting that needs to be adjusted that would control the "Midi" or the "Usb" on the Kronos 2.
I don't mind 'resetting" the "Kronos 2" as long as I don't have to reinstall the soundsets I have installed. Other than that I have not created any playlists or and edited presets I need to worry about.
Please help me as I am at a loss and really am still a bit new to the Kronos though I have been working with Computers and Synths (Korg) and many others for a very long time.
Thanks,
Korg Kronos 2 USB B to PC USB for editor/ sub system update

Thanks, I posted on that thread a bit ago after I had posted this query. I seemed to have "most" of it identical except the part where you look and designate the "place" 0-9 where the Kronos driver usb is listed...< that part I still can't locate on my win 7 PC.robw70 wrote:Check this thread:
