Firmware upgrade volca sample issues

SEEKING Volca SAMPLE ADVICE:
Im having problems successfully upgrading my OKGO VS to 1.2 ; actually -when I check the update (F + pwr) it indicates 1.4. (!?) I can't even factory reset/upload

-maybe it's the laptop or the desktop that is hosting the wav tones?
-or maybe the upgrade had taken place. I still can't transfer samples with caustic or audio pocket
-or maybe the box is no longer cooperating...

Very annoying and frustrating.
Has anyone else had similar problems with OKGO VS?

my Ok GO also says 1.4

but on KORGs website the latest firmware download is 1.3

im also confused

I also just had the same issue with Volca Modular. Have you ever found a solution for the "can't reset" problem? Thanks!

It's the same for my Volca Sample, it shows version 1.43, when the latest version on the Korg site is 1.42
