Hi guys. I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to use my electribe sampler2 as the master clock to control the tempo of my arps and such on my Krome without it sending the notes.
I went MIDI out of my electribe into the MIDI in on my Krome and set the Electribe to be the master. However, when I hit play on the electribe, it just sends midi notes to the Krome and instead of hearing the drum pattern I hit play on, I hear it using that information to play random notes on my Korg.
Basically, I just want my Krome to be in sync with my Electribe, but I want them both to be able to output their own sound. Is this possible?
Sorry I'm really new to MIDI. Thanks!

You have to set the MIDI SEND FILTER under GLOBAL PARAMETER:denjmusic wrote:well, i've mostly figured it out, but it seems like I'm forced to still send one channel of midi to the krome. Any way to not do that?
Both Short and Short + Program don't send notes.MIDI SEND FILTER ................................[Off, Short, Short+Program]
Specifies which MIDI messages are not transmitted.
OFF: All messages are transmitted.
Short: Short messages (Note On/Off, Control Change) are not transmitted.
Short + Program: Short messages and program change messages are not transmitted.
