Kross to laptop connection

Post by byllsong »

Hi guys.
I've gotten help here in the past and am in need of help again.
I've had my Kross a couple of years now and it's great.
I just got a laptop computer and need to connect it to the Kross.
I don't want to break or damage anything.
Thanks,
Billy

What do you want to do with the laptop (is it Mac or Windoze)? Record Kross audio on the laptop, control software synths on the laptop, or play the Kross from software running on the laptop?

I have music in the Kross sequencer.
I will be installing a Cakewalk recording software.
I would like to transfer the music to the computer
so that I can record to CD or thumb drive to play in my car.
Thanks
PS...Windows

Audio can be recorded using the Kross' built-in audio recorder function onto an SD card in WAV format files and the SD card then transferred to the laptop and the WAV audio files used to burn to a CD.

If the laptop has a stereo audio line-in jack, then a suitable cable to connect this to the Kross L and R/Mono audio outputs would be necessary for recording the audio directly on the laptop.
