"Pattern change locked - WARNING"

This is on the ESX2. Unit is stuck on this setting... when turning the "main" knob to change pattern changes then I get the message "WARNING - Pattern change locked"

How do I turn this off?

You have to hold Shift and turn the main knob to change pattern when it is like that.

Press Menu/Enter
Go to GLOBAL PARAMETERS
Change this setting:
PTN. CHANGE LOCK
Off
Then press Write to save the settings.
