Hello All,
I am noticing that in Program mode, using any of the Pianos, organs Strings that the Drum Track is choosing non drum patches and playing them as it would drums. I am running the latest OS. Somehow I messed this up somewhere. The Patterns are playing correctly, but the Drum Program that should be playing is replaced with other sounds, random sounds . Any idea on how to fix this and get it back to the original drum track setups that came with the Kronos?
If not, is there a list whereby I can see the Drum Patterns and Patches that Came with the Kronos in program mode and I can change them manually.
Help is much appreciated
Thank you.

Re: Program Mode: Drum Programs are not correct
the factory PCG should restore that. But I would dig into that file at the Program level, and load/save it 1 at a time, to see what your result is.Charlievv wrote:Hello All,

You should also do a backup on your current settings, so you don't completely lose all your changes
Drum Program issue
I did a fresh update of 3.1.2 and still the same issue. It appears to be mostly in the A-C banks of the Keyboards but I am sure its elsewhere also. I also went to the Factory folder: PCG: and went through the programs that I was sure are incorrect and reloaded them. Same problem. Then I started previewing each program from the factory folder that I had the problem with on my Kronos and they all produced the same issue. I am starting to think that the Drum Track Preset Patterns are correct but the Drum Set or Patch is set to other sounds, not drums at all. So if there is a way to do it from the disk reload mode, that would be great, it not, does anyone have a list of the Programs that shows the Drum track info? Which would include the Preset Pattern and drum kit? This would really be a drag to do but if theres no other way then.............. I do it.
Advice is appreciated.
Thanks

Actually, the OS is totally unrelated to the programs and sounds. If you update the OS you make absolutely no changes to programs. I suspect you somehow overloaded the drum programs with other sounds.
a) make a full backup
b) re-load the factory pcg - that will reset all sounds to factory settings
c) copy from backup any programs and combis that you changed or made yourself
Should do the job.

Did it. All Good
Thanks to all.
