Upper Octave push button

Post by Cian »

I play the song that has a part where I have to change/push "Upper Octave" button exactly at the time when my hands are very busy playing. Is there any other way to do it except using hand?

Yes

Get yourself an EC5 foot pedal and then you can assign pedals to octave up and down
The full list of EC5 assignments are on page 378 in the latest PA1X user manual (for OS 2.52)

(EC5 pedals are still available - e.g. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Korg-5-Switc ... SwIgNXsxvU - you can get cheaper - look around)

Cheers

Thanks, Pete. It's the shame, I have never ever needed this pedal before and I play for more than plenty years. I need it only now and might not needed it again. By the way, is this pedal OK for any Korg arranger?
