Request Information Styles Locked for Korg Pa4X

Post by Hungnguyen »

I wonder if Korg Pa can have the Style Locked feature like all the new model of Yamaha Arranger. Yamaha can do locked styles by YEP Manager Software so that the Users can't share to each others, This is a great feature that benefit to those who spend a lot of time to create their own styles and sell with a reasonable price..
Why we have to lock? because when you're a creator who made a custom styles for a certain favorite songs and sell with high price to get back what they have done for that styles? but nobody wants to buy even your styles are excellent of quality because it is too expensive..But if there is a locked style feature to lock the styles with a pass code and sell with cheaper price to avoid sharing Users to Users...
What do you suggestion?

Thanks

That is because Pa-Keyboards are well equipped with editors.

An Arrangerkeyboard that does not allow one to store styles after fitting into personal individual needs is worthless for anyone who wants to work creatively with styles.

If you want to use presetstyles just as they were delivered by the style programmer, it is probably better to use children's toy like Bontempi, which can not be edited and personal needs can not be adapted.

So i do not like Style Locking features within my personal device - also no locking features that prevent to edit, personalize and save any elements of ones keyboard.

If creators think to lock their products it is their affair how to realize this with its product - but i need no restriction within my keyboard to support this.
On the contrary - I would like to change all musical elements of my keyboard to my personal needs without restrictions, because using a keyboard with good editors (styles, sounds, effects ....).

Most important is to be able to save and memorize styles for ones personal needs. If one can do so without restriction, locking features are ineffective, unuseable, unnecessary.

On the other hand copying commercially available copyrighted or licensed data always are strictly prohibited except for private use.

Due to copyright and other applicable laws it is not allowed to spread such media - so one need not separate tool inside its keyboard to support this regulated anyway by law.
