Combi MIDI help, please

Hi,

I'm new to the boards and to the microSTATION. I've searched the boards and haven't found a definitive answer yet so hopefully someone can help me out.

I'm looking to run the MS through a MIDI controller but was wondering if it was possible to have the faders on the controller control the volume for individual timbres in combi mode??
I.E Timbre 1 volume controlled by fader 1 on the controller, Timbre 2 volume controlled by fader 2 on the controller, etc.

Does depend on the controller used if it support sending fader msg's through midi and might be best to use sequencer mode on Microstation, I have to check in if combi receive external commands.
