Kronos 1 Voice Name List
Hello,
Many sounds banks have being made on Kronos 1. When they have drums patterns, the associated drum kit doesn't match to the drums map of the Kronos 2.
So, I'm looking for the former voice name list in order to compare to the new one and then modify the programs.
Do you know how to get it ?
Thanks

the date on that file is 2015.kenrdot wrote:http://www.korg.com/us/support/download ... /424/2014/
So its not 100 % clear what Kronos ver that voice list belongs to.
my take its for todays Kronos model or the Kronos 2.
The O/p wants the PDF voice list from the Original Kronos of 2011/2012. That 1st generation Kronos has been 'discontinued '
Thus, I think, he has to dig into the discontinued product group or page. And use the "quick pick ' list to find " Kronos "
http://i.korg.com/SupportPage.aspx?productid=598
With that, the O/p can find the original docs, etc and the Zip file for the Kronos Owners manual ( which is everything).
I also think it would be a good idea to burn a DATE of issuance on the 1st page of each doc set. That would help match up the wanted doc with the correct Kronos.

Thanks but there's nothing there but a marketing brochure. There's no operator's guide nor parameters guide nor voice name list.GregC wrote:Thus, I think, he has to dig into the discontinued product group or page. Thank you but this is exactly the same Voice Name List as I have for my Kronos 2. So it doesn't match the Kronos 1.kenrdot wrote:http://www.korg.com/us/support/download ... /424/2014/

You have 6 choices. The Owners Manual is under "documents"
I d/l'd the zip file and got the complete set in 3 languages.
your file is named USA_ Kronos2_OM
Try here. There are about 50 files relating to the Kronos mk I (2011):

Give the page time to download to see them all. The 2011 Voice Name List is there.

So :
in Kronos 1, Drums Kits are placed from INT-F078 (Studio Standard Kit) to INT-F127 (Orch./ethnic Kit(Mono)) ; and from USER-A000 (Jazz DRy/Amb1 Kit SL1,2) to USER-A053 (Mini TamTam (Xiaoluo) SW1).
in Kronos 2, Drums Kits are placed from USER-AA106 (Studio Standard Kit) to USER-AA127 (Jazz DRy/Amb 2 Kit SL1,2) ; and from USER-BB000 (Jazz DRy/Amb 3 Kit SL1,2) to USER-BB081 (Orch./ethnic Kit(Mono)).
What's more, the both are not placed according to the same sequence, so it's essential to look at the both Voice Name List in order to get the right kit !
Thanks to the Kronos 1 Voice Name List, I will be able to convert older sounds banks for working with my Kronos 2. Its great !
