Hello
how to adjust the amount of sustain on the damper pedal.
Let's say I want to hold the pedal down but I don't want the piano to sound like strings or distort.
Cheers

Hi JP
I don't want the piano to sound like strings or distort
That really shouldn't happen as the result of sustain pedal relates to the actual way the sound is configured.

If you are experiencing this then there could be a different problem.

Cheers

Hi Pete
Sorry for my poor explanation, what I meant is: I have tendency to hold the damper
down and don't release and the piano doesn't sound good,
I was wondering if there is a setting to have a less sustain.
I'm not sure if I explained correct.

Just guessing, but maybe you could achieve that with shortening the release envelope in sound edit.

Take yer foot off the pedal.

You have to play the pedal same as the keys, down for on and up for off. Learn to do it, it's all part of playing keyboards.
