Searching for files (items) in OS 2.0

Post by pawlikp100 »

Hi
Let’s say I am searching for Songbook entry included song string. I am in the Style mode.

I typed the name “song” as type of searched data and found some records (results below). Those records are displayed as the list:

Style song 1
Style song 2
SMF Song 1
SMF Song 2

I chose Style song 1 and touched SELECT. Style song 1 was loaded (but the window with the list wasn’t automatically closed),

Then I chose SMF Song 1 - I would like to emphasize that I am still in Style mode - window with the list was automatically closed.

There is no consequence. Above happened when you select record from the Songbook which forces mode type changing (From Style Play to Song mode and vice versa).

What is more founded item after touching SELECT command should be mark out different colour i.e. green. Orange should be used only for currently highlighted record.

Some suggestion for future updates

- Future updates could let us save KBset mode into songbook record.
- User could have an opportunity to save different vocal presets directly into four KBDSets as it worked in Korg pa3x.[/u]

I agree. When I use search option and select searched style, there is no indication or at least automatic closing search window... So far not practical and a bit annoying.

It doesn't work like that in 1.2.4 OS or U have some gaps in my mind:)

Hi pawlikp100,

What you are looking to do can be done by turning the Display Hold off. May you try?

Thank you for your answer. Yes, I tried
but I prefer Hold on display setting - what is especially usefull when I browse through the next styles or sounds one by one.

Paolo, don't you think that above described proceude is not correct?

It works, but you don't see the result on the screen.
There is no difference between selected (active) item and item chosen to be selected.
