Post by losackmd2 »

before I load v2.0 and lose all my USER and FAVORITES
I wanna get this right
please have patience !

I'm making a backup
if I go to media then in SYS I hit ALL
I then go to save to

but
its on the internal DISK
how does this get all my user and favorites to saved to my USER F?
this is very confusing
someone with a heart help me
so that I don't lose my user and favorites
thank you kindly

If you have a USB drive inserted, you can page down to it, select it and make a folder and save it there.

You shouldn't have a problem, but at times it appears to go quite slowly, so just be patient and wait.
I've been "playing" with the new OS all day, restoring stuff and exploring new features and changes.
One thing I noticed, after the new OS loads it will tell you to turn off the keyboard. The display doesn't tell you to turn it back on, but the install manual does.
It will then say wait a few minutes while it reloads things. It is MORE than a few minutes, so, again, be patient.
