Sequencer not recording more than 1 track

I hit record on the sequencer page I have track one finished. I then tap to load track 2 to record and it automatically goes straight back to track 1. I have tried this with multi rec on and off and a host of other settings nothing is working...

I need to be able to record more than one track ! please help

If you have done the track one.
Select track two.
The track select popup is on the main page under the song position bar.
