Korg newbie registrations question

Post by lordspudz »

Hi

Had my PA4X for a few days just messing around and am really liking it.

I want to get started on creating and saving my own 'registrations' but can't seem to work out the correct procedure.

I'll be using midi files mainly which I have worked out how to load into Sequencer and alter volumes etc then save to a folder I've created on a usb stick.

How can I then create a registration (set) from scratch using the midi file as a backing? Tried different things but none seem to work (most probably me).

Any help/advice would be very much appreciated. :)

I would like to suggest that you start by viewing the following Korg tutorials -

SONG PLAY https://youtu.be/v59KWPHKLV8

SONGBOOK. https://youtu.be/Bo8y5U49vwE

If you have not done so, ensure you have iatest OS installed, easier to do now than after you have started customising things.

And finally, it is a bit daunting, but make the effort to learn how to setup DIRECT mode for your Styles, Songbook and keyboard sets. I always kept putting it off, but I know now that it is well worthwhile.
