Question about Korg PA4x

Post by Heeleyite »

Hi there,
I am a new member of the Forum and I don't actually have a PA4x yet but am trying to find out as much as I can with a view to purchasing one.
After having always used Technics (KN7000) and Ketron & Roland modules, I moved onto Yamaha (Tyros4) and as the Tyros4 doesn't instill in me the love that I have for my kN7000, I am considering buying a Korg PA4x.

Is it possible to buy voices for the PA4x in the same way that one can buy new UVN voices for the tyros4 as there are always some voices on each keyboard which are not really up to scratch - for instance, I have not yet heard a really good sax on the PA4x when watching demos on You Tube (same on my Tyros4) and I would like to get away from having to use a load of modules to provide what's missing.
Voices are very subjective and we don't all hear them in the same way but I would be happy if I thought I could purchase new voices for the Korg although I can't find any on the internet and this has worried me a little.
Thanks for any advice .
