Please help with my update

Hi all

Purchased my new PA4X in February this year, version OS 1.2.4.

What are the benefits of updating to latest version and what are the risks please. The more posts I read the less confident I get. I find the talk of BUGS a little scary. I love my PA4X and don't want to mess it up. I would be gutted.

Need help putting my mind at peace please.

benefits:
- a new italian piano sound (it's fantastic!)
- New drumkits and synth presets (sax, bandeon, synth leads and pads, etc)
- new styles
- Kaos pad FX features

Riscs,
as long as you save your own presets and styles and songs in a custom set, i doubt that there are any riscs. Just follow the clear instructions (or watch the videos on youtube how to do it) and it should be a very easy process.

I've bought my pa4x a couple of weeks ago and it came with 1.24, i immediately updated it to 2.0 and after that to 2.01 and it was an easy process which i completed within 30 minutes.

Thank you, a great reply, answered my questions and feel happier. I am a piano man so good news. Will make sure I do everything correctly as you say. And report back.
