Is there a new PA5x on its way ?
Hello all,
I'm a newbie to this forum and don't have a Korg keyboard...yet!
I have a Yamaha Tyros 5 and was going to consider the new Genos, but have instead decided to change to Korg.
The PA4x seems an obvious choice but there are one or two features which are looking a little dated - for example, the poor resolution screen - and perhaps I should wait to see if there are any plans for a PA5.
Is this something I should do? How often do Korg update their models?

Personally, I have no issues with the screen resolution. It won't sound any better or make for better performances with a higher resolution screen, purely cosmetic.aitchty wrote:..........

screen resolution
I agree with you Stilli, the sounds it's the most important.
The resolution is fine for me.

I think that touch responsivness of the screen is more important than resolution.and pa4x is great in this department.

Hi Asena
Lets hope as I still have 3x and will not upgrade as we have already paid a lot for that which had no real upgrades and very quickly got forgotten...tired of wasting money.
I'm looking for other not so costly options as the resale on the boards are minimal and to shell out for a new one because features seems to be held back simply to make a new keyboard is just crazy.
this locked midi parameters and making new keyboards unnecessarily will bring the demise of the arranger like we know it.
But anyways to the manufacturers its simple, milk it while they can...pc based arrangers from what I read is getting better by the day.
just my 2 cents
