Hi everyone,
I have been looking at buying a PA700 but i am not sure if buying the oriental version is a good idea. I would be primarily playing afghani/persian or middle eastern music with it and wasn't sure if i could plugin beats from external sources in the non-oriental version.
Can anyone clarify what the pros and cons is please?
thank you

Hello!
I think that the only difference in software between the pa700 and pa700 oriental is the extra sounds/styles the oriental has which i believe do not occupy any ram memory (haven't seen an oriental yet but it should be the same as the pa4x as it is the same engine).
Hardware wise the pa700 oriental has the extra quarter tone keys on the left side under the speaker (you can still use quarter tone from the screen on the standard model) but everything else is the same..
So if you need the extra oriental sounds/styles you should chose the oriental model else chose the standard..
Except if you get them at the same price so i would chose the oriental one !
