EC5 with PA4X
Hello my fellow Korg enthusiasts.
I would like to get EC5 pedal for my Pa4x, my question is: what can I control wirh Ec5?
I woul like to control Start and Stop, damper, fills, fade in/out if possible.
Has any body use one of these functions?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Jpires
I have the EC5 pedal and it will do nearly all of what you are looking for..
Go to Global - controllers - EC5 and press any of the A to E to see the full range.
For the damper I think you will need to purchas a separate pedal, I cannot see a reference to fade in/out
Best wishes

imo the EC5 is an absolute must for the PA series!
I have mine setup as
START (used only for the MP3/MIDI backing trax - styles area either auto start or done manually) - VARIATION UP - VARIATION DOWN - BREAK - END 3
I have a small control pedal (attached to the top of the sustain pedal) connected to the second controller jack and this is assigned to turning the harmoniser on and off.
I see no need for a expression/volume pedal as all my songs and shows are run totally from the Songbook in which I have carefully mixed and EQ'd all songs, so apart from the generic MAX - EQ (a global setting) at the start of a night for the room I am playing in, nothing else from a volume point of view needs changing.

Just because it happened to you, does not make it interesting.
What i dislike about the ec5 is that its a global setting...
This is where Korg should have a peek at yamaha, where many of these settings can be saved in a registration.. i would love tobe able to save things like this as part of a style...

Hello
I just got my ec5 pedal, boy it is awesome
Thanks you guys here in the forum for helping me get it, and for Keith Lawton you
wasn't sure if you can do damper, yes you can.
There is so many things you can control with this pedal.
I'm impressed.

A- Start/stop style. I sometimes use auto start, but set it manually when needed
B- Fill 1
C- Fill 2
D- Break
E- Ending 2
I've been using this set-up since i3 days!

I might change at some point to use diff fills on B & C
Also might change E to short ending, but every time I change something, I put myself off

Small square switch/pedal for harmoniser in assignable position
