AX3000G Restoring The Factory Presets

Just purchased online for a back up. Trying to restore the factory preset programs. I have read and implemented the procedure explained on pg 53 in the manual, repeatedly. it will not read "P" in the display. I even thought maybe the it had something to do with the Key Lock function? Unlocked, no result. Hopefully there is something I'm not seeing or doing. All suggestions welcomed..Salute
