The best way to save sample RAM

Post by smnyoed »

Hello my friend
As all of us know, RAM is like a Gold that we need to use it Effectively and save as much as we can in order to make our keyboard (pa3x) armed well!
So, my question is
What are the fundamendals to save a sample RAM into the RAM of the Keyboard?
SOme ideas?
What are the factors to make the RAM low as we can ?
Sample rate ?16 32 bit? Cut sample silence place? Check sustain loop sample and check the point where there are no clicks and sound is smooth?
The true is that Im confused!
Thank a Lot

RAM is really only good for loading the samples into. Once you create your program set it up to stream from disk. What this means is the Kronos OS will not load the samples until the program is loaded on screen. Because of SSDs this gives is actually extra memory in a way. Basically Korg is utilizing the SSDs as a type of memory. A lot of people do not actually know that hard drives are considered a type of storage memory in the technical world.
