My Cat(s) Like Kronos
I have 2 cats, Ripley and Riley.
Every morning, I have a routine of playing scales and arps on Kronos, about 30 minutes.
At the sound of the 1st note, Ripley, the older of the 2, joins me and hangs out next to my studio monitor and my feet. For the entire routine.
She gets some pets and wonderful ear scratches, too. That could be the bribe, I am not 100% sure.
I also think the routine and the piano note scales have a calming effect on Ripley. Cats are into routine and territory. There ears and eyes function at a higher level, too.
My younger cat, Riley will visit, but I think the motivation is to see if my office
window is open- so he can admire the birds outside.
I enjoy the routine and cats attention. I wrote a Song, Love my 2 Cats, a few months back. This is what artists do- reflect on stuff.
Anyway, not pimping a Song, not exactly.
Do your pets enjoy your Kronos and the music you make ? I bet dogs are equally loyal

Kittens are extra curious . My cats ( not kittens) have perches, window ledges and go into the yard. So they have variety.mariohardleft99 wrote:Yeah, man, my cats LOVE climbing on the Kronos. Never the other keyboards. They drive me nuts!
I have sturdy covers for both boards. AFAIK, they don't go on my boards.
The cats could be responding to scent on your K. I would clean it frequently
Many years ago I had a Roland Jupiter 8. My cat decided it was a good place to sleep, and I didn’t agree. I didn’t think cat hair would be good for a synthesizer.
So I programmed up a thunderclap-like patch with a blast of modulated noise, and left the amp on loud. She never climbed on the synth again. Unfortunately it scared her so much that she peed when she jumped off it. Cat urine isn’t good for synthesizers either.
