I have downloaded some new pa 700 and pa 1000 songbook from www.korgworlduk site i wanna know wheter it is a fake site or not does anybody know!!!![/list]

It is an official site.

I live in the UK and the website is primarily for the KORG World magazine which is published quarterly specifically for PA users.

The software you downloaded is a Firmware update and an update for Songbook, the Songbook update gives the real names of the songs and the artist/band concerned.

From the factory the Song titles are jumbled to save on copyright infringement and possible import levies in some countries. Or at least that is what we were advised by one of the Korg staff members during a Korg Club meeting, yes we do have these Official Club meets where a staff member comes to give demos and tips and tricks.

Hi Lloyd, The updated songbook is for your keyboard model. I downloaded it and was no problem to load in. It corrects the cryptic song titles in Songbook..

You should be OK installing it.

Just remember to Backup the 700 to an SD card or memory stick prior.

Roland does the same thing in their songbooks, never knew why as in th US you can’t copyright song titles. Didn’t know it was a thing in some countries.
