You need to Save your PCM samples into the set as well.
Media, Save Tab, select All, Save to, navigate to the Set, Save, now untick everything except PCM, OK.

Rule No. 1
Save All (all ticked before doing anything)
Rule No. 2
See Rule No. 1
OK from here you can safely experiment.
Loading new sounds won’t overwrite existing PCM but you may get a message of not enough memory. But they might overwrite User Sound registration slots which is as bad as losing your sounds.
If you are certain that the set has been properly saved (with PCM saved with it) then you can pick and choose what to load by drilling down into the set (load, open, sounds, open, userX, open, find sound and load where you want it).
So to start with fresh clean Ram you need to go into Sound mode, record, delete all multisamples but see rule No. 1 before doing this.
