Korg Trinity connect to computet using MIDI cable?

i purchased a midi cable and i would like to connect my korg trinity keyboard to my laptop using a midi cable to send and revieve PCG files. i am using Trinitro software but it keeps giving this message when i send pcg files to my korg trintiy keyboard " No response from korg trinity " any clue ??
