Google Chromebooks - Software

Post by KORG2 »

Just wanted to tell about the support with Chromebooks. I bought a Chromebook (Acer R11) and tried to connect it to my microstation. As Chromebooks support Android Apps now, I found quite some Android Apps that worked with the connected Microstation. I tried both kinds of connection: MDID-2-USB and USB-USB - both worked. I found both MIDI in and MIDI out software. It's cool to have a flipable Chromebook (keyboard turned around 360 degrees) on your music stand, and use simple keyboard learning software, keyboard games or sequencers/DAWs.

Good to know android steadily gained more music control and creation apps and this could free my phone for once cause I have good apps on it.
