Best way to sync your gear

Hi there. I was wondering what is the best way to sync EMX-1 and E2S to your computer? I want to be able to record the electribes into Reason while playing parts from Reason. I do it this way: i am sending MIDI clock from Reason to EMX-1 and from EMX-1 to E2S. It's working BUT: the sync is not "tight" and i have the impression it's kinda skipping.I've tried working with delay compensation but it does not sound as i was hoping. Any thoughts? Thanks

Try recording each Electribe soloed onto a reason track.That way you can narrow which tribe is unsynced, or both.
If the EMX 1 is tight but the E2 isn't then the E2 has a cable problem maybe. Maybe the stereo 35mm to 5-pin is faulty.

Make sure you use midi thru socket from your EMX to your E2 In.
