Hello everyone,
I found a great midi backup file and when I play it from the USB flash drive, it sounds great; however, when I record it to an MP3 to be permanently stored into the HD, it really sounds bad.
Is there a way that I can save a midi file and call it up during performance rather than mess around with a flash drive? I've studied the manual, but I can't locate anything.
Thanks
Mike

I have all my midis on the internal hard disk.
First, get organised by creating a new folder on your HD by going into Media, dropdown menu, Create new folder, call it something like myMIDIs.
In Media, use the Copy Tab to copy across your midis from the flash drive (use the bottom left drive selector to switch back and forth from HD to USB).
Load a midi from the HD into player one then proceed to put it into Songbook.
For back up, ocassionally copy your whole myMIDIs folder to a flash drive because Save All does not save midis or mp3s.
