External midi controller + korg kross

Post by Sugarmice »

Hello friend, I just registered to the forum of korg, I bought a Korg Kross of 88 keys a few weeks ago.
I apologize if my English is not so good we speak Spanish in Chile.
I tell you before I used midi + vst controllers, but I bought a kross and I want to complement it with a midi controller, to play with two keyboards.
There are some kross users that are using this configuration.
I would greatly appreciate your help.
I have a samson carbon 61 controller.
Who wants to urinate with this internal kross setup.
Best Regards..

It is certainly possible to use an external controller to send data to the MIDI In of the Kross to allow the Kross' own and external controller keyboards to play different timbres. This can be done by setting the Combi timbre's MIDI channel and external controller MIDI channel to match. As a general rule, try to avoid using channels 01 and 10, since 01 is the Krome's default, and 10 is used for the drum track, though use channel 10 if you want to sound extra drum beats.

thanks for your help..
Some user of kross knows how to confirm the kross for this.
You can detail the steps or the form.
