Players who do not experience problems with V3.0?
I've read some of the 'bug' reports, some of which are a bit specific, but I'm hesitating to upgrade right now.
Maybe there are some PA4X owners who migrated and DON'T have any problems with the new OS?

Couldn't resist, so I've installed the new OS.
Fingers crossed, but all went well so far.
No stability problems or other hickups yet!
(I've played and tested for several hours).
I think I have to get used to the new screen, but overall it looks modern and classy.
The new styles are very nice and I think Korg also put effort in upgrading some of the existing ones and KBD Sets.
Sound transition seems also better.
I'm happy with this free OS upgrade so far!
Thank you Korg team, and I hope that the bugs that are found will be fixed soon.

If you look on Youtube at the Namm presentation of the new OS3 the screen doesnt look blurred so what gone wrong to change things.Bescki wrote:Thank you. My screen is (like everyone else's) NOT high res but it is exactly as the youtube NAMM video. If you look on Youtube at the Namm presentation of the new OS3 the screen doesnt look blurred so what gone wrong to change things.
It won't be as clear of course for anyone who uses a screen protector.
I would be great if it was like an iPad but I don't have any issues with clarity or being able to read the screen.
Doubt that will change in this model.

For 99.999% of what I do, the upgrade has not caused any issues, except for a mismatch between instrument sounds and names, but now, in hindsight, it was because I missed a step in the upgrade manual where it asks to perform a factory restore which fixes just that issue. So at this point, it is 100% in good shape.Fransman wrote:I've read some of the 'bug' reports, some of which are a bit specific, but I'm hesitating to upgrade right now.

If the new color scheme and intro screen doesn't excite you all that much, then it's meh! There are some nifty changes such as the drawbar to the organ, whch is really cool. If you don't have to, you don't have to.
