Has anyone out there been able to program their korg to do the main parts of this song? Drum beat, pads, and the intro electric guitar strum?

Maybe it's not exactly what you want...
I have programmed a song containing:
- Looped drum machine by sampled TR-909
- Synthbass as pattern (start/stop via keyboard for break)
- Synthpad
- Synthpad 2 used in verse
- Piano pattern (intro)
- Piano for licks (intro)
- vocoder (Sw.1: on/off) to be played on an external keyboard controller (Roland A-800 via USB)
All (not the looped TR-909) is to be played live, but only on a Kronos with 88 keyboard!
No guitar because our guitar player would not be happy about that.

Just uploaded the SNG file including the sampled drum loop and the needed sounds.
The sounds will store to U-F000 (HD1) and U-G-000 - 002 (EXi).
Maybe you have to edit this to your personal needs.

You are right. On the record it was a CR78 (this samples I also used for the loop).
Later on some live shows a TR-909 was used. Maybe the CR78 was broken?
But too sad that there is no other feedback until now...
