Studio Monitors Loud Hum/Noise in Sequencer Kronos

Basic setup.. Korg Kronos L/R out to Samson Resolv5 powered studio monitors. Playing regular patches is fine, but switching to Sequencer mode (off and not playing) the monitors start putting out a lot hum. Am I able to get rid of the hum or at least reduce it? Either by adjustments in the Korg, or the cables? I'm using Monster cables 1/4 both ends (no adapters).

Try turning the external input volume controls on the rear panel to minimum and sensitivity switches to Line.
