Importing Pads

Post by ciftelimalesi »

Can I import my Pa800 Pads onto my PA4X, the current pads I have on there I do not like, but the ones on my 800 were really good. Please let me know. Thanks.

Hi , don’t know about importing, but the following worked with my PA3x pad to Pa4x.

Hit record/edit pad.
Choose pad.
Write pad.

Then you go to media
Sys, Open All
Save Pad.

Then on Pa4x

Media ,
Load pad.
You just keep opening till you find individual pads or load as a bank.

Some sounds may not be correct.

Hopefully will work with pa800 pads also.

If you already have pads saved in banks, really should be just a case of Loading them in from media.

Don’t think it would work as an import function , that’s for midi or creating pads from style parts.
best wishes

Hi, are you referring to the onboard pa800 factory pads, ie no samples or anything involved, and you saved them yourself? Planning to just save them to a user slot?

I doubt you’d cause any problems, but maybe someone else can confirm.
best wishes
