I will change SyncStp 2 to SyncStp 1 in my Volca FM.
For saving this after changing from 2 to 1 the manual says press REC.
The unit restarts but SyncStep is not changed to 1.
Any solution?

Do you mean that if you reboot the unit while FUNC pressed, that led8 is lit?

Your remark about led8 helped me solve the problem.
When I change SyncStp 2 to 1 and than save by pushing REC there is no change stored.
But when I have SyncStp 2 selected and then pushing REC it will change to SyncStp 1 as I wanted.
A little bit confusing for me but the problem is solved.
