Multi tracks sequencer

I used the quick backing record to create a bidding sequence, and wanted to go back in using the multi track recording function to add a strings part. However, when I selected the track to record it, no sound would come from the keyboard. I tried recording it, and use the event edit to confirm that the track had notes on it. However, the notes to not sound during playback either. Even when I shut off the recording function, no sound would come from the keyboard. I had to exit the sequencer mode and go back in. Can anybody help? Thanks in advance.

I don't know which track you are using - but try recording on one of the Tracks 1-8 because there could be some program or other data on Tracks 9-16 being used by the style.

Thanks for your reply. I found out that the problem was that I had accidentally turned the “manual bass” option on. I turned it off, and all was well.
