Start/stop pedal setting

I am trying to use a PS3 pedal to start and stop my KORG EK50. However, I do not see that function in the settings. I do not see anything in the manual related to start/stop using a pedal. What am I supposse to do?

I am trying to start the intro to the song and the ending. I need my hands to do ornaments to the song.

Use synchro start for the beginning . For the end you will need to use the button as far as I can say now. I’ll look further into it when I try mine after Christmas and let you know if I come up with anything for the end. What made you think this keyboard offered pedal start and stop? I never saw this claim made anywhere in the manual or the advertising. Did I miss something?

I have had Casio and Yamaha keyboards in te past and all of them had that feature of start/stop with the pedal, that is why I assumed that a Korg keyboard would have the same thing. Nope, I did not read the manual in advance. My mistake!

Perhaps it could be added in a future software update, I’m not sure if that could be possible even?
