Krome system eror 216 task ID line 1 0401
Won't start. What is this?

If memory serves,I believe the manufacturer's warranty is a year(& an additional year,when you register on the Korg website.
Possibly your Krome is still under warranty? If so...I would suggest you get it repaired and then sell it...after which,you then invest the money toward the new Krome EX.
Cannot confirm whether or not this issue has been fixed with the new EX version...but...it stands to reason that since Korg added more PCM data to the EX,they would have no choice but to upgrade the SD card on the motherboard,to accommodate the additional data.
