new members

Post by Backpool »

I just spotted a new members post, ( in their 'new members' dedicated cat. ) only noticing it as the title was for my instrument - EK50, so I replied.
I do think some new members maybe dont get the responses they would like from this cat. ....maybe i am wrong on this?? as i dont read all the threads in this cat.

perhaps if they were encouraged to post in the cat. of the actual instrumnent/s they own initially, they may get noticed more so by other users with a common interest and they would get more feedback and then feel as though they had been 'noticed' and not simply give up, thinking they had been ignored.

I see many new members dont seem to get any feedback - little wonder they dont seem to continue with postings..

Just an observation ...... keith

Thanks ...thats great , but not really what I meant...

I think this is the reason some new folk are not re-posting as it would look like replies are thin on the ground in most cases.
If new folk were advised to post within their instrument choice cat. I think this might be a better option ....as I said ...just an ob. IMHO

Thanks - understand.
We do have a heading post in that section - don't know what we could add really.
