ES-2 MIDI doesn't seem to work

Hi folks,

Have been trying to get my red ES-2S to either send or respond to MIDI, but nothing seems to happen. I think I have the correct MIDI channels set on all pieces of gear and am using a MIDI cable that works with other gear.

Aside from the MIDI channel and MIDI Send/Receive Filter settings, is there any other settings that might stop it working?

Could you be more specific?
Are you using a non-Korg Jack To MIDI DIN adapter?

Since you've explored all settings on the electribe, that could be the culprit.

Unless the unit has some kind of hardware defect, of course.
