SV-1 No power

Hi,
after not playing my SV-1 for a couple of weeks [ damaged finger] I tried switching it on but there was no power. I tried a different lead connected to a different power socket and also tried spraying the on/off switch with electrical contact cleaner. Nothing.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas?
