Cannot Access Program Parameters While in Favorites Mode?

When I press the Favorites Active button, then select a favorite, I cannot figure out how to get back to that program or combi's main screen to access the Tone, Mixer and Arp pages or edit the step sequencer.

If I press the Combi or Prog buttons, it goes back to whatever was last selected in those modes which defeats the purpose of Favorites mode.

Is this how the Favorites mode works? Can I not access any of the mixer or Step Sequencer parameters while Favorites mode is active? Or is there something I'm missing? Just bought the Kross and aside from this issue it's fitting the bill really nice.
