In the last week, Yamaha has released an app update that updates the device firmware to resolve problem ‘sometimes midi data could not be resolved properly’.

This may possibly fix the problem that some are experiencing with midi glitches using Baum Songbook+ on iPad with iOS14.2

Search App Store for ‘Yamaha MD-BT01’. (I am still on iOS14.1 so have not tried it)

Hi,

this is NOT a problem of the Yamaha BT-adaptor.

It´s caused by iOS 14.2, Apple has confirmed it ( the 14.2 has some general issues with the bluetooth-le ).

MAYBE these issues are caused by new functions used by some "covid-19-warn-apps" of some states.

In 14.3beta ( unfortunately not available for public ) this SHOULD be solved.

BTW: There are also some problems with bluetooth-foot-pedals (air-turn-ped )...

Baum Sofware is reporting issues with Bluetooth resolved after iOS 14.3 update also.
