Dead pads

Post by rossb »

Hi there
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas about fixing the pressure sensitive pads? 6 of mine on the oasys aren't working and my friendly repair guy says they can't be replaced. Does anyone know of replacements or alternative ways of triggering them?

Hi,

I'd also like to know as 2 of mine have stopped working but it's not
affecting anything else.

I'm ok when I get to the music. The Oasys 88 sees to that.

I sucessfully fixed these kind of conductive rubber buttons wth anti oxidation spray with cotton tops to apply, pretty much. Cleaning up basically.

Spray for electronics basically, that does not leave remnance on corcuit board under. Usually there are fingers of foil on circuit board that are shortet by conductive rubber.

I did on rubber pads under keys on Roland D50 and pocket calculators etc.
