NanoKontrol2/Change Channel(midi) Challenge

Post by GreeceMakesTunesToo »

Hi everybody,

is there an easy way to change midi channels in Nanokontrol?

All I can find is a well-explained but 10-years old post, that says how to do it with some programme being involved between Nano and your DAW, but all the steps are for Windows XP and seems tricky anyways.

Thank you.[/code]

The Korg Kontrol Editor allows the MIDI channels used by the nanoKontrol to be set up, and is fairly straightforward to use. It doesn't sit between nanoKontrol and DAW, but needs to be used on its own. Once the "Scene" data are written (or sent) to the nanoKontrol, the settings are retained, and the nanoKontrol can be used with the DAW. The Korg Kontrol Editor should run on Windows versions post XP. The Korg Windows MIDI drivers should be installed before the nanoKontrol is connected.

Sorry for the personal message I made mistake, and thank you again for the quick reply.

I will try to repeat so that anyone can see.

"I didn't try from Korg Editor beacause I was trying to find a way to change channels using the controller so that I lose no time especially with live projects"
