Sound Librarian - "minilogue is not connected"

I'm hoping that the redundancy of this post will have some sort of effect in summoning a formal response to this issue. I've read all of the threads in this forum relating to this issue, and have tried the few solutions given. However, like 90% of users with this issue, I have not been able to resolve it. Does anyone have a new solution? If anyone out there is also still stuck, please reply saying so.

The problem:
With the Minilogue XD connected to my pc via USB, I open the Sound Librarian and it displays "minilogue is not connected".
In Cubase and other applications, the drivers appear and are fully functional.

Details:
Latest driver is installed.
Driver is installed on midi port 2.
In the SL preferences, "specifiy midi port manually" is NOT checked.
In the Korg Driver Setup Utility, Automatic Start IS checked.
Also, I've tried to use SL on my 2016 macbook air, but I get the exact same error.
